Answer 1:

The cost of a solar panel installation varies greatly. Even if it is the same system, issues with installation could double the cost. Because of this we can never give estimates over the phone and we must come in person to design a system that works with what you have.

Answer 2:

Windmills are a bit more expensive than solar power these days. However sometimes solar just isn't an option. However windmills are very much the same as solar in the sense that the installation technique impacts the cost so much that we cannot give an accurate number. We price these out project by project.

Answer 3:

Typical economical electrical work on a basement ranges around 2000$ including materials. There are so many variables to consider, however that is what I find to be the average cost. A high end basement renovation on a bungalo can be up to 10,000 including materials.

Answer 4:

Our minimum charge is only one hour. Yes that's right, only one hour. Where other companies in Vancouver can charge you up to 300 for a site visit, we charge 0$. We only charge after we have notified the customer of the costs and they agree.

Answer 5:

We have a tiered system for charging our customers. Once they have reached a certain point their rates get lowered. There are also options for having lower rates depending on your flexability. For example if your job can be completed any time day or night during the course of an entire month, you are going to pay less than if you need it done on a Sunday at 11 PM.

Answer 6:

Call us at any point during our project development. We will walk you through how we do our installation and the asscociated costs. Even if your project is a year away, call us anyway. We can probably offer you great advice on saving money.

Answer 7:

The efficiency of a solar panel can vary greatly. With that being said, in Southern British Columbia, expect a solar panel system to produce 1.22X it's wattage rating in KwH per year. For example, a 1000 Watt solar system will produce 1220 KwH per year.

Answer 8:

We first take a look at your electrical system and find the devices which draw the most current. This can be lighting, networking systems or electric heating. Once we have determined what your current draw is, we research higher efficiency devices. We will show you the current rating of your devices and the rating of the new devices with a graph on how much money you would save per year if you upgraded your system.

Answer 9:

We take calls 24/7/365. If it is 2 AM and your power is out, call us.
